How to add customer testimonials in Magento 2
- Install CPS Testimonials (free) and open Content → Testimonials in the admin.
- Click Add New Testimonial and fill in the name, company, quote, a 1–5 star rating and an optional photo. Choose the store view it belongs to.
- Set its status to Approved — or leave it Pending and approve it later from the grid, on its own or in a batch.
- Place it on any page with the CPS Testimonials widget, or a one-line CMS

How to turn testimonials into a rotating carousel
- Activate the Testimonials Pro licence for your website — it unlocks unlimited testimonials and carousel mode.
- Add the CPS Testimonials Carousel widget to a page, block or layout position.
- Set Autoplay to Yes and pick an interval (default 5 seconds, 1.5s minimum); choose how many to show and whether to display ratings and photos.
- On an Alpine-aware theme (Hyvä, Lurox or Swissup Breeze) the stack becomes a smooth carousel with autoplay, arrows and dots. Without Alpine it degrades to the static stack — no errors, nothing hidden.
The Free tier always renders the static stack; carousel mode is a Pro feature.
