Branded PDF invoices, packing slips & credit memos that finally look like your store.
Swap Magento's plain default PDFs for documents that carry your logo, your company and tax details, your colours and your choice of font. Branded invoices are free, forever — unlock the full document suite, per-store branding, product images and email auto-attach for a one-time $199. Server-side, self-hosted, identical on any theme.
Your invoice is the last thing a customer keeps. Magento makes it plain.
Every order ends with a PDF — an invoice in the confirmation email, a packing slip in the box, a credit memo with a refund. Out of the box, Magento renders them in the same grey, logo-less template every other unbranded store sends: no accent colour, no company details laid out properly, no tax or VAT identity in the footer.
It is a document your customer files, forwards to accounts, or pins to a fridge — and it is doing none of the quiet brand work it should. This is the tool that fixes it — for free on the invoice, and across every document on Pro.
Brand it once, and every document comes out right.
Your brand on every document — free
Your logo, company and tax/VAT details, a primary and accent colour, a choice of built-in font and an optional SKU column. Set it once and every branded invoice comes out right — on the free tier, forever.
The full document suite (Pro)
Branded packing slips — with the tracking number on them — and credit memos with refund lines and the original order reference, not just invoices. The same brand, end to end.
Per-store & automated (Pro)
A different logo, colour and company per store view; small product thumbnails in the item rows; and auto-attach the branded PDF to the invoice, shipment and credit-memo emails so it lands in the customer's inbox.
The branded invoice — free, forever.
The branded invoice is the free tier, and it is not a teaser. Your logo sits top-left, your company and tax details are laid out properly, your accent colour runs through the headings and the table header, and the footer carries your Tax Number and VAT ID. It replaces Magento's default invoice PDF automatically — nothing to click when an invoice is created.
- Logo, company block, phone, email, Tax Number and VAT ID — all yours.
- Primary and accent colour, a choice of built-in font, and an optional SKU column.
- The product thumbnails shown here are a Pro touch (see below); everything else is free.
Set your branding once, in one place.
All of it is a single admin screen. Upload a logo, type your company block, phone, email, Tax Number and VAT ID, and save. There is no template language to learn and no HTML to hand-edit — the fields map straight onto the document.
- Logo (PNG or JPG), company name and multi-line address.
- Phone and email, plus Tax Number and VAT ID for the footer.
- Every field is [store view] scoped — the foundation for per-store branding on Pro.
Your colours, your font — no template editing.
Match the document to your brand without touching code. Pick the accent colour that runs through the headings and table header — the same #4F46E5 you see across these shots is just a default you change to your own. Set the body text colour, choose a built-in font, and decide whether the SKU column and product images appear.
- Accent colour (headings + table header) and primary body-text colour — hex, on the free tier.
- Font: Helvetica, Times or Courier. Base font size in points.
- Show SKU column — free. Show product image in rows — Pro.
A packing slip that matches — with the tracking number on it.
On Pro, the packing slip in the box matches the invoice in the inbox. Same logo, same colours, same company block — and the tracking number printed right on it, under the item table. It replaces Magento's default shipment PDF the moment a shipment is created.
- The full branded header, with SKU and quantity columns (no prices — it is a packing document).
- Tracking Information printed on the slip, carrier and number.
- Product thumbnails in the rows so the packer can eyeball what goes in the box.
Credit memos that look intentional, not apologetic.
Refunds are where a plain PDF looks worst — the customer is already unhappy. On Pro, the credit memo carries the same brand, references the original order, and lays out the refund lines and refund total clearly. It replaces Magento's default credit-memo PDF automatically.
- Branded header, the original order number, and BILL TO / SHIP TO.
- Refund lines with a Shipping Refund line and a clear REFUND TOTAL.
- The same Tax Number and VAT ID footer as the invoice — consistent for accounts.
The branded PDF, attached to the email automatically.
On Pro, the branded PDF rides along with the transactional email. Turn on auto-attach and the invoice email carries the branded invoice, the shipment email carries the packing slip, and the credit-memo email carries the credit memo — each attached as a real PDF the customer can save.
- Independent toggles for invoice, shipment and credit-memo emails.
- The PDF is attached to the actual transactional email — nothing for staff to remember.
- Works alongside CPS SMTP and Magento's own mail — the attachment survives the send.
The documents, and the screens that produce them.

How to enable branded packing slips and credit memos in Magento 2
- Activate your Pro licence for the website (Stores → Configuration → PDF Invoices → licence).
- Branded packing slips and credit memos switch on automatically — they use the same Branding and Appearance settings as your invoice.
- Create a shipment or a credit memo as usual; the branded PDF replaces Magento's default.
- Turn on Show Product Image if you want thumbnails in the item rows.
Packing slips, credit memos, per-store branding and product images are Pro features.
How to automatically attach the PDF to Magento 2 order emails
- Go to Stores → Configuration → Sales → PDF Invoices → Email Attachment.
- Set Attach PDF to Invoice Email to Yes to include the branded invoice.
- Do the same for Shipment (packing slip) and Credit Memo emails.
- Save. Each transactional email now carries its branded PDF as a real attachment.
Email auto-attach is a Pro feature, and works alongside CPS SMTP.
Plain default, or properly branded
An honest before and after — not a testimonial we cannot yet earn.
Magento's default PDFs
- No logo, no accent colour — the same grey template every unbranded store sends.
- No company or tax/VAT identity laid out in the footer.
- Packing slips and credit memos just as plain as the invoice.
- A designer or developer needed to change any of it.
With PDF Invoices
- Your logo, colours, company and tax/VAT on every document.
- Invoice free; packing slips, credit memos and per-store branding on Pro.
- Product images and auto-attach to the transactional email (Pro).
- Configured in the admin — no template language, no developer.
Why merchants pick CPS for branded Magento PDFs
A real free tier — the only one in the category
Fooman, Xtento, Amasty and Magezon are all paid-only, and Mageplaza is $399 a year. We give branded invoices away and lead the one-time cluster at $199.
Self-hosted — no cloud
Pure Zend_Pdf, the engine Magento core already uses. Nothing leaves your server, so the output is identical on Luma, Hyvä, Lurox or any theme.
Zero-risk install
A fall-through plugin. Disable it — or stay on Free for shipments and credit memos — and you simply get Magento's stock PDFs. Nothing to break.
Own it, don't rent it
A perpetual licence per website plus an updates renewal — not an annual subscription that stops branding your documents when the invoice lapses.
Per-store branding
Run several brands from one Magento? Give each store view its own logo, colour and company details, all from store-scoped config (Pro).
Built to the same standard as the family
Backend-only, PHP 8.4, Magento 2.4.8+, and covered by a test suite that exercises the real document render — not just unit mocks.

Questions, answered.
Yes — automatically, via a fall-through plugin. When it is enabled and licensed for a document type, the branded PDF is returned in place of Magento's stock one. When it is disabled, or you are on Free for a shipment or credit memo, Magento's default PDF is returned untouched. There is nothing to break.
Branded invoices are free forever — logo, company and tax/VAT details, your colours, a choice of font and the SKU column. The full document suite (packing slips and credit memos), per-store branding, product images and email auto-attach are the one-time $199 Pro upgrade.
Yes, on Pro. Every branding and appearance field is store-view scoped, so a multi-brand Magento can give each store view its own logo, colour and company details. On Free, branding is set at the default/website level.
Three built-in fonts — Helvetica, Times or Courier — chosen in the admin. These are the standard Zend_Pdf fonts, so there is nothing to install. Custom-uploaded fonts and non-Latin (RTL / CJK) scripts are not supported in this release.
It works on any theme — Luma, Hyvä, Lurox or your own — because the PDFs are generated server-side and never touch the storefront. It is fully self-hosted with pure Zend_Pdf; nothing leaves your server.
No. It is a perpetual licence per website (one domain per key), plus an updates renewal. Your documents keep coming out branded if you choose not to renew — you simply stop receiving new versions.
Need a specific document layout, or a field your PDF must show?
PDF Invoices covers the everyday case out of the box — your brand on invoices, packing slips and credit memos, with tax/VAT details and per-store branding.
If you need a particular field, a compliance layout for your market, or a document type we don't ship yet, tell us about it. We build these on top of PDF Invoices, so you keep the branding and the fall-through safety.
